Privacy Policy

The short version

Lists Matcher is a fully client-side tool. Your lists never leave your browser. There is no server, no database, and no analytics.

What we store (locally, on your device)

• Settings; delimiter choice, ignore-case toggle, stored in localStorage so they persist between visits.
• History; your last 5 comparisons, stored in localStorage so you can restore them. You can clear this any time by clicking Reset All.
• Dark mode preference; stored in localStorage.

What we do NOT do

• 🚫 We do not collect, transmit, or store your list content anywhere.
• 🚫 We do not use cookies.
• 🚫 We do not run analytics or tracking scripts.
• 🚫 We do not sell or share any data, there is no data to sell.

Third-party services

Google Fonts loads two fonts (Plus Jakarta Sans and JetBrains Mono) from Google's servers. This is a standard CDN request - Google may log your IP address as part of serving the font files. To avoid this, you can self-host the fonts.

If you use the Donate page, clicking PayPal or Stripe opens their own websites in a new tab. Their privacy policies apply from that point.
